The Stour Centre will be running their next NPLQ course from the 23^rd July to 28^th July 2012. The cost of the course is £250 and you must be available for each day between 8am and 4pm

Requirments to become a pool life guard

To enrol on an NPLQ course you must be able to complete the following:

• Swim 50m in less than a minute
• Swim 100m continuously on your front then 100m on your back
• Tread water in deep water for more than 30 seconds
• Surface dive to the deepest part of the pool
• Climb out of the pool unaided
• Candidates must be 16 years or over
